Springtail Emerging Nations Applications
Overview
Emerging nations do not have the infrastructure or
the resources to build the roads, bridges and other
governmental assets that allow an economy to grow and
develop. The daily radius of human activity in many
of these nations is about 3 miles per day (what it was
in the United States in 1900). Their roadways are inadequate
for the demands placed on them. This single constraint
artificially limits economic growth through loss of
time and opportunity. Many emerging countries do not
require the FAA certification that is necessary here
in the United States, especially when a product, such
as Springtail, gives them an immediate solution to many
of their transportation and logistics problems.

Emerging Nations
Springtail and other models of PAVs being developed
have the potential to increase the daily mobility reach
from the current 3 miles to over 125 miles. This will
provide approximately a forty fold increase over current
ground transportation. Springtail would allow emerging
nations to “rise above”, and do without the undeveloped
infrastructure by making development unnecessary.
Springtail doesn’t require any special take-off and
landing facilities so it won’t be necessary to build
expensive roadways or runways. Remote villages and
communities, previously without connections to the
outside world, would gain access to healthcare, schools,
supplies, and other resources.
