Unique Features
Weighing less than four pounds, without batteries, this
Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) is operated by a line-of-sight
seven channel radio.
OVIWUN is Man Portable, it can easily fit in a backpack or small case, and is
equipped with a GPS locator that transmits it's position to
the operator. This lightweight vehicle can be used for
a variety of tasks, which include, but are not limited to
the items mentioned below:

The robust ducted fan
design, allows OVIWUN to brush against items, without
damaging them or the machine! This allows it to
fly into tight spaces, or even amongst groups of people,
without worrying about the blades being damaged and
loosing an aircraft, or people or objects being harmed
by spinning rotor blades.

With a payload of over six
pounds, OVIWUN can carry many useful tools, sensors, and
accessories to customize the craft for your specific
requirements.

In addition to forward
flight, it's ability to hover in one spot allows still
and video cameras to send real-time data back to the user.

Equipped with night
vision cameras OVIWUN can be flown into cramped dark areas. (Caves,
dark buildings, tunnels)

Hives of unmanned OVIWUN
vehicles can be used to cover an entire area or create a
swarm that is difficult to shoot down or destroy.

It can take off and land in a small space, or by holding
it over your head and letting go! No runways or
catapults are required.

OVIWUN Military Applications
OVIWUN can be equipped with a camera and flown
into tight spaces, situations that are under fire or
siege, and areas that are inaccessible by normal means.
The real-time data that this type of flight can
provide affords first hand knowledge of an area,
including the locations of targets, stranded team
members, or ambush parties, without needlessly risking
human life by sending personnel in blindly.
It can also be used in times of natural disasters,
where buildings may have been compromised due to
tsunami's, earthquakes, or fires. OVIWUN can be
flown into these areas to look for survivors, or to
check the structural integrity and to determine the best
way to enter a
building, before a team crosses the threshold.

OVIWUN Homeland Security Applications
The ability to fly indoors gives prime vantage points
for hard to reach areas. It can also fly over
crowds to film suspicious subjects or unruly areas, and
send specific coordinates for a team of police and
emergency responders to get to the area.
The coast guard could use it to assist with many of
their current functions;
including Search and Rescue
(SAR), Maritime Law Enforcement (MLE), Aids to
Navigation (ATON), Environmental Protection, Port
Security and Military Readiness.
OVIWUN can also be used for boarder patrol, sending
back video data when there is an illegal border
crossing, alerting the viewer how many people are in
the party, what they look like, and even what direction they are
heading.

Applications
Commercial and civilian sectors refer to this type
of an aircraft as a Local Unmanned Air Vehicle, and can
utilize OVIWUN to complete many of their daily
tasks, without the need for excess manpower or risk of
life. This
includes:
- Forestry
applications: OVIWUN could be used to locate lost
campers in the wilderness using real-time footage,
it could be used to fly in to track animals that
have been tagged, or to check borders, or fly in
behind a fire line.
- Agriculture: OVIWUN
can assist in spraying large trees or small areas of
crops for bugs or diseases,
without spraying an entire area. It can also
be used to fly
around hard to reach fence lines to ensure that they
are secure.
- Sports footage:
