Transportation and Logistics

Although there are many constraints on economic growth, a lack of infrastructure often proves to be the most binding.  Dragonfly offers an immediate solution to many transportation and logistics problems. Its ability to vertically take-off and land, coupled with the safety offered by the ducted fans, allows Dragonfly to operate in underdeveloped areas. Dragonfly has the ability to increase the daily radius of economic activity by a multiple of ten to fifteen times what many of these countries are experiencing today.

This means farmers can get their product to market and suppliers can get fertilizer and other essential components back to the farmers. People in remote villages, once isolated and cut off economically, can receive necessary medical and other supplies. This starts the process of improving the economic base from which to build. All of this can be accomplished with little or no increase in the governmental infrastructure.
